Installation in 3 steps

    Open the DMG

    Double-click the downloaded disk image file in your Downloads folder.

    Drag to Applications

    Drag the iPhone Data Manager icon into your Applications folder.

    Launch and connect

    Open the app from Applications and connect your iPhone with a USB cable.

System requirements

  • macOS 12 Monterey or later
  • Mac with Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) or Intel processor
  • USB cable for initial iPhone pairing (Wi-Fi supported after pairing)
  • Enough free disk space on your Mac or external drive for your iPhone backup

Note on Wi-Fi connections

Your very first connection must be over a USB cable, and you must tap "Trust This Computer" on your iPhone and enter your device passcode. Once trusted, you can connect over local Wi-Fi.
