Privacy by design

Privacy is our architecture, not a setting.

Your iPhone holds years of private conversations, photos and financial details. It belongs on your Mac — nowhere else.

What stays on your Mac

Everything personal. Your backups, WhatsApp messages, SMS history, photos, videos, contacts, extracted leads, crash logs and exported files stay strictly on your Mac or the external drive you choose.

When the app connects to the internet

The app only talks to the internet for two tasks: checking your license status and downloading signed app updates (<<<confirm the final list>>>). No message text, contact details or backup contents are ever transmitted.

Read-only by design

iPhone Data Manager accesses your iPhone and local backups in read-only mode. It never alters, deletes or overwrites messages, photos or databases on your device.

No account required

You do not create an account or sign in to use the app. If you buy a paid plan, your license key activates directly inside the app.

Clean local logs

Local troubleshooting logs on your Mac record technical events only. They never include message bodies, phone numbers, contact names or file contents.

Signed and notarized by Apple

Every release is signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate and notarized by Apple, verifying that the binary is free of known malware and has not been tampered with.
